Commissioner, Nidhi Pandey, IIS
Dear Students, Teachers, and Parents,
On the momentous occasion of Foundation Day 2024 of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), I extend my heartfelt greetings to each one of you. From its humble beginnings in 1963, KVS has grown into an inspiring institution of excellence in school education. This remarkable journey continues to evolve, driven by an unwavering spirit of innovation and progress.

Shri Digg Raj Meena
Deputy Commissioner
Education should imbue students with the right values; propel them in the right direction; bring proficiency in various domains; and open doors for them to soar high in the limitless sky. It should prepare children to face the problems and challenges of this complex world; should build tolerance, compassion and above all empathy for weak. We live in a world where there is plethora of information available but the ability to discern and receive, what is beneficial comes with education. As administrators, teachers, mentors and facilitators we are entrusted with this herculean task of shaping our institutions to fulfill this vision and mission of KVS. Our endeavour should be to make learning enjoyable and meaningful; to incorporate the pedagogical changes; to integrate technology; to develop the critical thinking skills; to generate a pursuit for knowledge and provide a platform for the creativity of our students. Soaring high is human nature but without proper training in human values, we may not be able to give them wings to take independent flight. Science and spirituality should be harmoniously blended to produce young persons of character committed to national service and development. It is my belief that with the right attitude and teamwork, Jabalpur Region can become a force to reckon with and the quest for excellence may be difficult but not impossible. In the words of the Mother, “One must always strive for perfection and the particular level of perfection attainable today does not matter so long as one reaches at least one step higher tomorrow.”

Parents' involvement in their children education is absolutely essential to their eventual success. Surprisingly enough, the result of every student done in the last two decades about what affects a child's success in school concludes that only one factor overwhelmingly affects it every time, parental involvement. Not the size of the school, the number of science labs, the size of library of how many great teachers there are! But none is as significant as the effect parents can have Be on the lookout for common signs of stress such as trouble sleeping, emotional mood changer, lose of appetite, skin ailments, and stomach upset. Be patient, controlled and calm in the run up to examinations. Anxiety is infectious. Make sure there is place available at home where the student can work alone or wherever he likes with confidence. Make it clear that your son or daughter is valued for reasons entirely unconnected with academic progress.Praise commitment as well as success and try to put the examination in perspective. Show interest in their achievements outside school work also. Avoid offering rewards such as money, clothes or cars Young people may feel that they are being manipulated, and it might stop them developing intrest in the subject for its own mistake. So lets join hands and make a difference !
